THE RIDDLE
There’s a Riddle for you….
Set around the dinner table, a peculiar family of 6 appear to be going through the motions, or rather - radical emotions-, without recognising the circles that they are spiralling in or being able to solve the riddle that is right in front of them.
Reflecting the absurd nature of mental health and confronting the audience with the problematic consequences when it’s left undealt with, The Riddle used conventions of theatre of the absurd and immersive theatre to tackle the concerns of mental health and isolation amongst those closest to you.
The audience enters The Riddle’s house where they are guests at a family dinner.
The washing of clean plates, squawking from the newspaper, the passing of the butter, a mysterious lover,
and most importantly, a riddle….
